Description

Hello everybody. Since I was bored and have nothing to do, why not do another meme. So I decided to do one on my top 10 favorite movies. Enjoy.

Update: I've updated the description for explanations.

Update 2: Added Honorable Mentions.

Update 3: Updated descriptions a bit more.

10. Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star Of Milos

Fullmetal Alchemist is a favorite franchise of mines that I've come to enjoy time and time again, and my watchers will know that this series was one of the influences for my CP/SV/SCP/Horror universe I've created known as "Darkest Fears". And Brotherhood was a favorite series of mines, considering it follows the manga more closely. When the movie "The Sacred Star Of Milos" came out, I decided to pick it up and see it for myself, and after watching it, I've really come to enjoy it. The characters introduced in this movie were enjoyable to watch, I really liked the design of Table city itself, and I loved the action sequences themselves.

9. Space Jam

This movie was a favorite of mines as a child growing up and watching the Looney Tunes play basketball against the Monstars with Michael Jordan was pretty damn awesome, and I've always watched it time and time again, and some of the moments were pretty damn funny. And even to this day, I still enjoy this movie as nostalgic fun.

8. Python

I've always had a fascination with snakes themselves when I was a kid, whenever I tuned into the Discovery channel or Animal Planet and even National Geographic, I've always watched the documentaries about them or featured them time and time again. When I was about 9 to 10 years old, I received this movie on VHS and when I saw it, I was drawn in by the giant, 60 ft. long serpent itself and even though plenty of the scenes were shocking, I've enjoyed the movie itself and I've always tuned in to watch the monster snake movies marathon on the Sci-fi channel to watch many of the monster snake movies time and time again. It was a childhood favorite of mines and it really still unsettles me to this day.

7. The Avengers: Age Of Ultron

Of all of the Marvel Cinematic movies I have seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this one is a favorite of mines. I liked some of the new characters they've added in, Ultron was a pretty awesome villain and I really liked how they were expand the universe with places like Wakanda, the new Avengers headquarters, Sokovia, and I really loved the climax where Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Vision, Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver all band together to fight Ultron and his Ultron drones. I am hoping to see more of what Marvel Studios has to unleash in the future.

6. Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

This movie was something I've found to be very unique, with its take on the 16th president of the United States Abraham Lincoln living a double life as a vampire hunter. And I must say it was awesome. I really liked it own take on the vampires, the action sequences were pretty enjoyable to watch, Lincoln here was pretty quite badass, and the entire train sequence was the best part of the movie. And I never knew that it was based on a book. This movie is definitely a worth see. It was one of the inspirations for my universe "Darkest Fears".

5. Percy Jackson Sea Of Monsters

When I first saw the first Percy Jackson movie, I thought it was okay, and while I wasn't to hooked in on it, it was a decent watch. When the sequel itself came out, I decided to go see it, and after watching the whole movie, it was great. I liked some of the clever references to Greek mythology they've added in there, and I think Kronos was a threatening and a badass villain as he is. I hope he comes back soon.

4. The Amazing Spider Man 2

I don't understand why people complain about this movie. I thought it was great. And what's wrong with this movie having many villains? I think all of the villains were awesome. I really enjoyed Electro, Green Goblin and the Rhino in this movie. If only they had made The Amazing Spider Man 3 as well as The Sinister Six spinoff movie as well. People should just suck it up and enjoy this movie for what it is.

3. Godzilla 2014

I am a huge Godzilla fan myself, and when this movie came out, I just had to go see it. I really liked the new look of Godzilla himself, and I liked the MUTO's themselves, and after seeing this, I this movie is a lot better than the 1998 version. I can't wait to see the sequel for the movie real soon.

2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a franchise I've come to enjoy over the last several years, and when I saw the 2012 series, I was hooked in on it, and I decided to take a look at more of the franchise itself, and when I say the 1990 movie of TMNT itself, I thought it was good, and after seeing it several times over and over again, I can why so many TMNT fans find this version as the best version of the Turtles movies there is, cause it combines both elements of the original Mirage comics and the 1987 cartoon itself together. The movie was quite a lot of fun to watch, the action sequences were great, the comedic bits worked well, and the final battle with Shredder was awesome.

My number 1 choice would be:

1. Sin City

For my number one choice, I pick this movie, cause I at first have seen only sections of the movie itself, and I thought it looked decent at first. So I decided to watch the full movie itself and after seeing it from beginning to end, it was awesome. I really liked the dark atmosphere of the locations themselves, the scenes were pretty damn awesome, many of the characters were badass and I really enjoyed it so much it has become one of the inspirations for my fictional universe "Darkest Fears". The Neo-noir style it has is what made this movie the best. And I end up seeing the sequel of this movie, and it was also fantastic. So for that, this movie deserves the number one spot.

And those are my top 10 favorite movies I've really enjoyed. Do you agree with my list? Have any favorite movies to share? I'm all ears. This is Nick The Steam Engine Fan and I will see you next time.
